As technology matures and microprocessors are becoming cheap we are starting to see a trend of products that are now ?smart.? The problem is that once we discover how these devices are programmed we can identify some major flaws, unfortunately for some researchers the hardware aspect scares them away which can uncover a lot more. This talk is to show people how easy it really is to get into embedded device hacking while also expanding their ASM knowledge outside of the x86/x86_64 space. By the end of this talk the audience will be encouraged to go out and start their journey into the embedded device world while having the tools that they need. The audience will also be given tips and tricks to crafting exploits for their vulnerabilities due to the fact that friends don’t let friends craft DoS PoCs when controllable memory corruption is involved.
