Saudi Arabia government hacked Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s phone

A researcher claims that Saudi Arabia hacked the smartphone of Amazon founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos, report experts International Institute of Cyber Security (IICS), the best ethical hacking institute. The researcher, Gavin de Becker, was hired by Bezos to determine how the tabloid National Enquirer had gained access to the CEO’s private messages.

According to the investigator, the hack against Bezos is linked to the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi writer, and the coverage of the incident conducted by The Washington Post. So far, Saudi Arabia has not yet made any official statement about what Mr. De Becker holds.

It should be noted that Jeff Bezos is the current owner of The Washington Post. According to the reports gathered by the experts from the best ethical hacking institute, Gavin de Becker’s research has already been handed over to the U.S. authorities.

“After a thorough investigation we can conclude, with a high level of certainty, that Saudi Arabia got access to Mr. Bezos’s phone and agreed to confidential information,” says Becker through the Daily Beast website.

The investigation has taken place after Bezos accused American Media Inc., the National Enquirer’s headquarters of blackmail, alleging that the company demanded him to dismiss the alleged political motivations of the tabloid in exchange for not posting their intimate photos.

The tabloid published the month of January that Bezos held an affair, including allegedly real photos and text messages.

According to the experts from the best ethical hacking institute, de Becker also ensured that American Media Inc. demanded him to declare that the investigation had concluded without being able to verify that the company had resorted to hacking tactics to obtain confidential information of Jeff Bezos.

The investigator added that the Saudi government was in an attack campaign against The Washington Post because of the articles written by Jamal Khashoggi.  “The Saudi Arabian government has tried to affect Bezos’s image since late last year because of the coverage TWP has made on Khashoggi’s murder,” the investigator said.

American Media INC. Has not made a single statement on these allegations so far; moreover, ensure that, in conducting these reports on Bezos, they have not violated the law.
